What is TMP?

We are a modelling service, established in 2007. Designing to help and guide models throughout the UK modelling industry. In this time we have become the trust source of models who need jobs, guidance and assistance in their career. New and old.

What does TMP stand for?
TMP stands for the The Model’s Portal.

How do you work?
We work by establishing what your needs are and then identifying how to fulfil your needs by creating simple and effective action plans that, when put in place, serve to provide you with excellent results.

What sort of models are you looking for?
There is no set criteria of model that we look for. Any race, gender, height, size, etc. We are welcoming to everyone. Our job is to manage your expectations whilst also turning your dreams to reality.

Am I guaranteed work by joining you guys?
NO agency in the world can guarantee work. If any agency does that is a tell tale sign that they are scam artists. Therefore we NEVER guarantee work. However, we make sure we work our hardest to bring you to the forefront of the modelling industry. Our success rate is outstanding at 90%.

An agency has charged me a joining fee, why?
NO agency should charge an agency fee. That is not an agency. Contact us immediately if an agency tries to charge you a joining fee: info@themodelsportal.co.uk

Will you charge a joining fee?
Absolutely not. Our consultation service is FREE. If we decide that you have the right look and attitude to make it then we may consider helping you out by creating an action plan to get your career moving. At this stage our discussions will develop further.

What is the difference between TMP Agency & TMP?
TMP Agency are a sister company of TMP. TMP Agency deal exclusively with getting models jobs. TMP deal with the initial stage of that, by giving you a helping hand to get you to a stage where TMP Agency or other agencies will look to sign you up.

What is the point of a portfolio? Do I need one?
Do you need one? Yes and no. Having a strong portfolio is basically like having a key to open doors. Think of yourself a high street shop. If a high street shop looks dingy and run down the likelihood of you entering it, is slim to zero. If a shop is well presented and colourful, you’ll enter it or even just window shop. A portfolio is the difference between you being noticed and not being noticed. The stronger the portfolio the more chance of work you’ll get. It’s a simple math. But very effective.

If we think you have may have potential, we’ll invite you into our studio and work on getting your action plan into motion. Beforehand we create you a personal stylesheet that fits your looks, stats and potential. From here we’ll execute the action plan and begin the paths to branding you as a model.
